Behind the scenes at Summerwave

Friday morning, six o’clock: the first drone goes up while the crew is still building the site. You only get that light once.

The setup

Three cameras, one drone, one editor on site. Every evening the footage of that day was sorted, so on Monday all we had to do was choose.

What we learned

More time for sound. The music was chosen quickly, but the ambient sound of the crowd is what makes the film.
